Congratulations on your
NEW PUPPY!
We got a puppy. Now what?
Don’t worry, you’ll be fine.
New puppy ownership can be stressful! The good news is that you have a team of people supporting you at your vet clinic and you’ll quickly find that your friends and family will want to help in raising a puppy. Puppies are usually pretty straightforward! Food, water, toys, walks and lots of love!
You should probably get these things.

When to go to the vet.
Puppies get their vaccines at 8, 12 and 16 weeks. Your pup may have received his or her initial vaccines. If not, get him to the vet right away to make sure he’s checked for signs of parasites, health issues and to start protecting him with appropriate vaccinations. Don’t forget to bring a poop to his first visit. If ever your pup looks more tired than usual, isn’t eating, or is showing signs of vomiting/ diarrhea/ coughing/ sneezing or you know he isn’t acting like himself, give your vet a call to find out what you should do next.
